Forensic Services

Dr. Schroeckenstein has extensive training and experience in forensic matters.  Such services can be completed privately or under a Court Appointment Order, dependent on the circumstances surrounding the matter.  Dr. Schroeckenstein offers the following services:

    • A Psychological Evaluation entails a comprehensive evaluation of one party.  Such evaluations may entail the following procedures: clinical interviews, collateral consultations, psychological testing, and record/data review.
  • Focused Assessment
    • A Focused Assessment/Limited Focused Assessment is an appropriate evaluation when there are specific questions that the parties and/or Court would like assessed to aid in a family's matter.  These referral questions can address a wide range of issues, such as parental fitness, child abuse/neglect, mental health, substance abuse, parental estrangement, domestic violence etc.  Recommendations regarding legal decision-making and parenting time cannot be rendered within a Focused Assessment.

  • Expert Consultation
    • Expert Consultation is a service used to address specific aspects of a matter based on research, one's expert training and education, and professional experience and specializations.  Typically, expert consultations involve a written report and/or testimony.  The focus of such work is determined by the attorney/party with the collaboration of the expert.
  • Therapeutic Interventionist
